The Most common means of file transfer is "FTP" or "File Transfer Protocol". One of the best FTP programs can be downloaded at www.ipswitch.com. You can also use your browser to FTP. The URL would look like this:
ftp://servername/directoryname/filename
Once you have established a link with th FTP site you will see directories listed as hyperlinks (underlined and different color) click on the desired directory. (see diagram above)
